There is no doubt that Colombia is apart from the bad reputation famous for its high quality coffee. The coffee cultural landscape located in department of Quindio and Risaralda got on UNESCO World Heritage list as Coffee Cultural Landscape as an exceptional example of a sustainable and productive cultural landscape that is unique and representative of a tradition that is a strong symbol for coffee growing areas worldwide. The inscription occured in 2011.
Since then this area called Coffee Triangle is massively visited by people all around the world and is one of the top 3 places to visit in Colombia. A nice commercial “Colombia Magical Realism Coffee” was launched to support coffee tourism showing natural beauties, attractions and coffee culture.
But there is much more behind it! That´s the reason why we have decided ( I & Emilio) to publish a book with plenty of pictures from coffee farms.
We launch our “Coffee Passport” project on August 28th, 2013.
Here is the project link, it will be available once the project is launched: igg.me/at/coffeepassport
