We spent 2 days in Amazon rainforest: Marlene and her boyfriend Bruno and our indigenous guides from La Libertad- Gustavo and his son Hector. We walked around 4hours deeper to dense jungle carrying water, food, clothing and hammock for sleeping. The bags got heavier and heavier with every single meter; the high percentage of humidity and fresh mud tired us more mentally than physically. You have to be very careful with every step you are about to make; the animals are pretty cunning, their way of camouflage is incredible.. So be careful, instead of touching just a simple trunk, it can happen that you touch a trunk with nicely camouflaged and dangerous insect. Some trees, lianas and plants protect themselves by spiky barbs, poisonous milk or any other way they are able to.
