WHO ARE WE?

We are young Colombian people, local families and one hobo girl (Pimentona herself) who love Colombia and work together in sustainable tourism supporting Colombian coffee producers and guiding YOU, hobo guys and travelers, around still undiscovered Farallones del Citará mountain range and charming South West region of Antioquia.

WHAT DO WE DO?

We help people who plan to travel to South West Antioquia (coffee area near Medellín) and wish to experience real Colombian life at remote coffee farms in Andes or El Jardín, learn about coffee culture, do adventurous hiking up to San Nicolas peak, take long walks around amazing water streams, swim in the crystally clean rivers and watch incredible numbers of diverse birds.

Come and enjoy cup of delicious Colombian coffee produced at the farm you are staying overnight, listen to the gentle whistle of blue- crowned motmot, feel soft wind blowing through coffee plantation and share moments with local people.

Sounds like perfect place to relax? To fled hectic modern world? We are ready to meet you.

WHERE ARE WE?

We are based in Andes, El Jardín and Cuidad Bolívar, all three towns are located in South West Antioquia, only 3 hours south of bustling and vibrant city of Medellín.
Medellín is Antioquia department capital city and it serves as a perfect base for trips outside the city. We recommend you to spend more than 1 day with us.  Yes, we´ve got plenty of spots to show you and adventures to experience.

HOW TO GET THERE?

There are plenty of bus companies that have direct bus routes from Medellín to Andes, El Jardín or Cuidad Bolívar. It takes approximately 3 hours and it costs around 20.000 pesos. Bus ride is always fun in Colombia, be ready for loud music, street vendors and unique window views, especially do not miss to spot Cerro Tusa, mysterious hill that looks like a pyramid.

HOW CAN WE HELP YOU?

South West Antioquia is not on Lonely Planet must-to-see list and we are happy for that. The area has so many things to offer but as a place is not very touristy, you might find some problems arranging your trip. We can help you get English speaking guide, find accommodation with local families, arrange bird watching, take you to harvest coffee or do hiking in Farallones mountains. We are neither tourist agency not tour operator, we are small bunch of people trying to show this magic place to people who wish to escape already well know spots and search for something NEW? CHALLENGING and DIFERENT.

HOW CAN YOU HELP US?

This project runs on our inner motivation and belief that tourism is about discovering and real experience. We have no marketing campaigns. We work mouth-to–mouth spreading, leaving people to decide themselves if our experience is worth it. If you like our idea, share it with your friends and families and let us know what you like about us.
