Farallones del Citará, expedition where you fight yourself

Mountain range of Farallones del Citará is such a magic place! The magic is so marvellous  and only few people have had opportunity to enjoy it! Do you ask why?  Because only few dare to climb 3 mountains to get there, only few of us dare to face tough hiking.

12 hours climbing up until you get to the camping place? I love hiking but I hate just climbing up so do not ask me how I achieved it. We faced light rain, dense rainforest, heavy rain again and finally amazing moorland and all these places with backpack on our shoulders ( imagine our exhaustion!) . We had to climb ugly sloops  tight tree roots, watching every single step we wanted to do.

And we did it! We got to the foot of the peak at about 3 200 meters above sea level. Spending night there was something incredible and morning sunrise gave you the feeling that you are the owner of this world and its beauties.
